Technoprimitive

Definition of Technoprimitive:

Technoprimitive is a movement characterized by a coalescing of

ancient and modern visual communication.

The art embodies a set point of awareness, yet simultaneously     creates a visio-perceptual doorway for its own evolution.

Technoprimitive artist Quilla Rho talks about the Technoprimitive movement:

I wasn’t always a Technoprimitive. It just happened.

The art taught me all the individual components and when those gelled I felt the rug being pulled out from under my feet; I tapped into an interactive art form from the future.

It began with realizing that information is only as good as its source, and only made usable in and by how it is organized.

The sum of all parts is not equal to the whole especially when taking in Technoprimitive art; Technoprimitive art is full of a wide scope of concepts that evolve their meaning and significance when organized in certain ways.

Some of my own Technoprimitive art is in 2 & 3d form yet, just as a book is just a book until it is read, it has the power to bear fruit in the minds and perception of others like an inspiring story or  a  fancy cookbook.

Just as “yes” and “no”, are valuable words that help in making decisions there are more complex stations require an in-depth investigation of the gray.

Technoprimitive asks what only the active mind can resolve to question and evolve.

My style of Technoprimitive art is testament to freestyle symmetry, not only visual symmetry but symmetry within the significance of the visual content; when I make these pieces I am making a peace with its contents.

I incorporate the complete whole that includes the unsightly/uncomfortable to the comforting/beautiful, reinventing both while exposing a deeper whole through the re-innovation of their impact.

This art I create out of necessity, not desire, to see into it and then for it to see into me; at times the messages are bigger than what one mind can contain.

When it laughs, it laughs with you, not at you; I see that it opens doors for new ways of internalizing existence.

The above video highlights  “Ekes Tetra”, a  triptych that defies its own abstract symmetry with  an elaborate juxtaposition of  life's evolution.

It crosses three separate panels, forming a visual EKG like impression of futuristic   thoughtforms.

These image equations are some of the first in the Technoprimitve era.
